Area Spotlight - Coming Soon

The first Omaha Area Associates meeting took place in May of 2002. Erin Nelson Bock, a graduate of Duchesne Academy, had heard that other orders had groups called "associates" and felt a calling to start such a group in Omaha. She called upon four fellow classmates, and we met with the local RSCJ for dinner. We each, in our own words, expressed a desire to live out the Charism of the Sacred Heart: that is to discover God's love in our own lives and to share that love with others. We felt that love as students of the Sacred Heart and wanted to stay spiritually connected to our Duchesne Family.

Erin continues to represent our group at the national level and we are excited and optimistic about our future as associates.
