News and Notes

The San Diego Area Associates began 2008 with their regular meeting on January 3rd. The meeting was a shared prayer of our own reflections on the RSCJ Spirituality Statement and the Associate Identity Statement.

The spirituality statement of RSCJ's expresses our own experiences in prayer and sharing with each other. We realize that as an Associate we are called by God to live within the Heart of Christ. The statement challenges all of us to live a life of deeper contemplation and to experience reality with His Heart.

We have been asked to respond to the Associates Identity Statement by Feb. 1st. so that the initial revisions can be made prior to the Houston meeting in Feb/Mar.

It was also decided we would read as a group, The Sacred Heart of the World, by David Richo, The book can be used in our personal prayer, group prayer, and discussions.
